East Texas A&M University football team has learned the kick-off times and television network designations for its first two games to begin the 2025 season at SMU and at Florida State.
The Lions begin the season in Dallas on August 30 at SMU, which is set for an 8 p.m. kick-off on the ACC Network. The following week, East Texas A&M makes the trip to Tallahassee, Florida, to face Florida State on September 6 at 11 a.m. CT/Noon ET, also on the ACC Network.
For the second year in a row, the Lions begin the season in primetime on national television as they faced off against San Diego State last season on truTV, which was the first nationally televised game for the Lions in the Division I era.
The games against the Mustangs and Seminoles are the first nationally televised games for East Texas A&M on an ESPN platform since the 2017 National Championship game.
Lion fans interested in attending either game in person can purchase their tickets now HERE. All tickets purchased through the East Texas A&M tickets office will be in the designated visiting team section at SMU and Florida State.
As an added benefit for Lion Football season ticket holders, all fans who purchase or renew their season tickets by June 30 will also receive a complimentary ticket to the Lions’ matchup at SMU as part of the season ticket package, equal to the number of season tickets purchased. This exclusive offer is available for a limited time and provides added value to an already exciting home schedule.
