Estel Dale Goodin, 78, of the Bagwell Community of Red River County, Texas, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018.
Cremation is under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home in Paris, Texas. A service in Illinois will be scheduled at a later date.
Mr. Goodin, the son of Leonard Merl Goodin & Mary Logue Goodin, was born Sept. 25, 1939, in Patoka, IL.
He was an entrepreneur and in 1970, he established the Dale Goodin Company, a company which constructed metal barns.
Survivors include his wife, Lena Lake Goodin, a son, Estel Duane Goodin & wife Teresa of Blossom, TX, daughters, Amy Page Coleman & husband Robert of Hallsville, TX, Danielle Carter of Bagwell, TX and Myrissa Owen of Bagwell, TX, two grandchildren, Caleb Goodin & wife Brooke and Calvin Goodin, two great grandchildren, Rebecca and Josephine, two brothers, Merl Goodin & wife Doris of Peoria, IL and David Goodin & wife Donna of Shobonier, IL, two sisters, Maxine Sturgeon of Patoka, IL and Nancy Dickman & husband Gary of St. Louis, MO along with a number of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Johnny and Jimmy and three sisters, Irene, Geneva, and Marcella.
