Emily Sher Chao (San Kyi Ma), wife of Dr. Zaw Win of Paris, TX was born in Yangon, Myanmar on August 6, 1962 to parents, Tin Chu Sher and Bee Yin Tan. She passed away at her home on the morning of September 16, 2025, in Paris.
She was a woman with a good heart and selfless spirit. She was an excellent wife and mother; raising three children. Her hard work and dedication paid off with her children; two in medical school and one in dentistry.
A funeral service will be held at Fry Gibbs Funeral Home on Friday, September 19th at 2:00 PM.
She is survived by her husband, Dr. Zaw Win; her children, Alison Chao, Mark Chao, and Wilson Chao; brothers, Sher Ton Pei, Sher Moon Kun, Sher Jen Park; sisters, Sher Jen Lang and Tong Bon Sher.
