Edna Mae Jamar, 91, of Paris, passed away July 31, 2023 at Paris Regional Health. Graveside services will be conducted at 10:00 AM, Friday, August 4, 2023 in Evergreen Open Air Chapel.
She was born on October 9, 1931 in Cole, Arkansas, a daughter of Howard Taft and Lilie May Rose Alexander. Edna was retired from Uarco. On June 7, 1952 she married Robert William Jamar in Paris, Texas. He preceded her in death on October 13, 2014. She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Billy Joe Alexander and Carol Ray Alexander and their wives.
Edna is survived by many nieces and nephews and a special nephew, Phil Carter and close neighbors Glen and Pat Books and Jimmy and Betty Slayden and a host of friends.
