Edgar J. Cox, age 71, of Honey Grove, Texas passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Paris Regional Medical Center after a brief illness. Cremation is under the care and direction of Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Memorial services will be held at a later date. Edgar was born June 22, 1950 in Fort Worth, Texas to Virgel S. and Norma Jean Wheatly Cox. He graduated from Trimble Tech High School in Fort Worth. His career at the City of North Richland Hills spanned 23 years before his retirement. In his spare time he did upholstery work on both furniture and automobiles. He was quiet man that was ready and willing to help those in need around him. He was always there to assist his mother and his sister.
He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Holly Cox. Survivors include his mother, Norma Cox and a sister, Vicki Hill, both of Honey Grove, Texas.
