Dale Milford Miller, 81, of Paris, passed away Monday, June 17, 2019 in Paris Regional Medical Center. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 PM Thursday, June 20, 2019 at the United Pentecostal Church of Paris with Rev. Robert Myre officiating. Burial will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery with Clint Hutchins, Brad Presson, Corey Meyer, Keith Mansfield, Chris Hill, Jeremy Yoder, Ethan Grimes and Blake Moore serving as pallbearers. Family will receive friends from 6:00 PM till 8:00 PM Wednesday at the Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
Mr. Miller was born on June 30, 1937 in Hershey, PA, a son of Forrest and Margaret Adams Miller. He was retired from IBM as a service technician, a graduate of Hershey High School and served in the U.S. Air Force. He loved wood working, reading, restoring old cars and was a member of the Red River Valley Honkers. After retiring he taught computer repair at Paris High School and started a robotics program, he volunteered at the Lamar Co. Historical Museum and had been a member of the Kiwanis Club.
Mr. Miller is survived by his spouse, Marie Miller, whom he married on May 2, 1981 in Paris; daughters, Sonya Presson and Amber Hutchins and husband, Clint; 3 grandchildren, Mandy Schulenberg, Bridgette Mahon and Bradley Presson; great-grandchildren, Aleah Schulenberg, Dylan Schulenberg, Presley Mahon, William Mahon, Warner Mahon and Madison Mahon; brother, Gerry Miller and sisters, Doris Reichard, Betty Juarros and Jean Wheaton.
He was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Karen Miller and Lindsey M. Miller, his parents, and a brother, Earl Miller.
