Chisum High School Gym will have live donkeys running up and down the basketball court on Feb. 11 during the Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show.
New rodeo stars will be born during the wild and crazy during the Dairyland Donkey Basketball Show, at 7:30 p.m., where basketball will be played on real, live donkeys. It’s expected to be wilder than a rodeo and funnier than a circus.
All of the proceeds will benefit Scholarships for this year’s Chisum Seniors, distributed by CHIPS.
“All local players will be riding, so come out and see someone you know try to ride a donkey and play basketball at the same time. It’s a thrill a minute, a spill a minute. Laugh as you’ve never laughed before at the wild and crazy donkey basketball show!”
A BBQ Sandwich meal will be provided by Chris McClure – Big Poppa-Q BBQ – for $10. Proceeds from this will also go towards the Scholarship Fund. Food will be served starting at 6 p.m.
This fun-filled show is sponsored by Metro Gate. Advanced tickets can be purchased for $7 at the Chisum ISD Admin building. Tickets will also be available at the door for $10.
