Connie Maye (Ward) Marshall, 74, of Paris, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, at Texoma Medical Center in Denison, TX.
Services are scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, July 25th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Rev. Rickey Hayes officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Connie, the daughter of Ben Ward, Jr. and Corrine Harville Ward, was born July 16, 1951, in Carlsbad, NM.
She was a graduate of Paris High School. Her career with Dairy Queen spanned 40 years, and Connie was still working at the time of her passing. During those years she made many lasting friendships and will be deeply missed by her customers and fellow workers.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Ricky Marshall, a son, Rickey Marshall, a granddaughter, Breah Marshall, and a great grandson, Tiggan Filkins.
Survivors include two sons, Bennie Marshall and Shawn Marshall, grandchildren, Leslie McDowell, Josh Marshall, Logan Delgado, Kayla Marshall, Keylsie Filkins and husband Dean, Brylea Marshall, Braelyn Marshall, and Hallie Marshall, several great grandchildren, two siblings, Bill Manning and wife Joan and Bengie Bowers and friend Rey Garza along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
