Sophie Long, an 11-year-old missing Collin County girl, will return home after being found in a foreign country, according to Collin County Sheriff’s Office.
The sheriff’s office said she was located in a foreign country, however, the office has not specified what country. She has been placed in protective custody, and arrangements are being made for her safe return to her family in the United States.

“Many months of determined work by my deputies, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the U.S. Marshals paid off this morning,” Collin County Sheriff Jim Skinner. ”We are so happy that Sophie is safe.”
