Cloyce Inez Sitz, 85, of Paris, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at her home surrounded by her family.
Services are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 26th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home with Darren McIntire officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Cloyce, the daughter of Joseph McIntire & Goldie Owens McIntire, was born June 15, 1938, in Madill, OK.
She attended Paris Schools. Cloyce worked several years at the Cummer-Graham Crate Factory before beginning a career with Merico, which spanned many years before her retirement. Cloyce attended the Emberson Baptist Church.
On Feb. 11, 1961, she married Billy C. “Cotton” Sitz, building 47 years of family and memories before his death on Sept. 25, 2008. She was also preceded in death by her parents and siblings, Betty Sitz, Richard McIntire, Wylie McIntire, Albert McIntire, J. M. McIntire, and an infant brother, Joe McIntire.
Survivors include two daughters, Jeannie Ramsey & husband Ben and Amy Bailey, two grandchildren, Justin Ratliff & wife Kaci and Jency Gilliam, four great grandchildren, Brooklyn Gilliam, Kodi Gilliam, Laken Ratliff, and Memphis Ratliff, one sister, Alice Webb, two sisters-in-law, Norma McIntire and Yvonne Sitz and numerous nieces & nephews along with a host of friends. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were the light of her life.
Casket bearers will be: Wylie Webb, Jimmy McIntire, Darren McIntire, Richard McIntire, Steven McIntire, Kyle Sitz, and Justin Ratliff.
It was Cloyce’s desire that in lieu of flowers you buy a book for someone or plant a tree.
