A ‘Community Coat Drive’ is underway, hosted by CitySquare Paris, collecting winter coats for those in need — especially children.
“Last year’s drive showed us that the greatest need in our community is for children’s coats,” said the organization. “We ask that you please keep this in mind as you sort and shop.”
Those wanting to drop off new (without tags) or gently used coats can do so at Spring Lake Assisted Living, 750 N. Collegiate Drive in Paris, between 8 a.m. – 4 p.m. through Oct. 25.
Everyone in need of a coat, can shop for a free coat at CitySquare Paris, 2515 Bonham Street in Paris, on Saturday. Nov.4 from 10 a.m. – 4p.m. Two coats (one heavy, one lighter) per household family member who is present.
“A special thank you to Convenient Cleaners for providing dry cleaning services for donated garments, Springlake Assisted Living for receiving coats, and Paris Regional Health.”
