The City of Paris EMS recently announced another investment in patient care with the addition of eight new Curaplex OneScope® Video Laryngoscopes to our ambulances.
These advanced airway devices provide our paramedics with improved visualization during endotracheal intubation, helping enhance patient safety and support successful airway management when seconds count.
Some of the new features include:
Larger LCD display
360° rotating screen for optimal viewing
Rechargeable internal battery
Automatic procedure recording
“Recorded airway procedures can be securely reviewed as part of our quality improvement and training program, allowing us to provide timely feedback, reinforce best practices, and continually improve the care we provide to our community.”
These video laryngoscopes were purchased with funding from DSHS through the Northeast Texas Regional Advisory Council (NETRAC). We are grateful for NETRAC’s continued support of EMS agencies throughout Northeast Texas and their commitment to improving emergency medical care by helping providers access advanced equipment and technology.
“At City of Paris EMS, we remain committed to investing in our providers and equipping them with the tools they need to deliver the highest level of prehospital emergency care for all citizens of Paris and Lamar County.”
