The City of Hugo, Oklahoma, has named Alan Reynolds, a city employee for more than 20 years, as its new city manager.
“I have proudly served he City of Hugo for the past 25-years and I look forward to continuing to work alongside or dedicated staff, community leaders, and citizens to support the growth, progress, and well-being of our city,” said Reynolds.
Following his new appointment, Reynolds took the time to thank the street department, line maintenance, and Parks & Recreation for the hard work recently.
“Parks and Recreation has been doing an excellent job mowing the parks and line maintenance has been diligently addressing our water leaks. Thank you to the street department for patching holes and helping with the city clean-up. Over the past three week they have worked hard, laying 45 tons of pothole material.”
In other news the City of Hugo Police Department is accepting applications for two patrol positions and will accept applications until the positions are filled.
Pay for the position is un-certified $17 and certified $18.08 with 90/10 insurance, 20-year retirement, paid sick leave, paid vacations and cell/equipment allowance.
Applicants must be 21-years of age or older, possess a high school diploma or GED, have a valid drivers license, no felony convictions or non-traffic related misdemeanors, and must be able to pass a mental health evaluation and physical fitness assessment.
Applications can be picked up and turned in at City Hall and the police department.
