Paris Sports Bar & Grill, a new family-friendly sports bar, is set to open by the end of the year in the old Ward’s Family Restaurant building, 2655 Clarksville St.
It’s a family affair for Jeremy and Shavoya Council, Szcwealion and Caressha Milton, Kelvin Pruit, and Ashley Tessem, who said the new sports bar had been a dream of theirs for a long time.
“We felt Paris needed something relatable where you could take the kids and have a good time,” said co-owner Shavoya Council. “We felt the location was perfect for a sports bar being across from the PJC Dragons and down the street from the Paris Wildcats. Plus, everyone remembers that restaurant.”
Paris Sports Bar & Grill will not only have a full bar with signature drinks but will also serve up all your favorite meals made with fresh ingredients and, of course, plenty of TV’s to broadcast the games.
“We plan on streaming different fights, football, soccer, and baseball games; basically anything big going on or things you’d normally have to pay for will be showing at Paris Sports Bar & Grill,” said Council.
The family said they wanted to create a fun place for everybody, including the kids, and a place families will want to come back to.
The bar will be open Tuesday to Saturday for lunch and dinner, with an expected opening date in October 2021.
“The feedback we’ve had has been great. Everyone is very excited to come out and support us and shown lots of love. We are very excited.”
