Lamar County, TX – Casey Johnson, an experienced strategy and operations leader with over 17 years of experience in manufacturing management and a proud Lamar County native, has officially announced his candidacy for Lamar County Commissioner, Precinct 4. Johnson, who has built a career on integrity, servant leadership, and the pursuit of excellence, is eager to bring his expertise and passion for sustainable growth to the community he calls home.
“I’m running for County Commissioner because I want to utilize my experience and skillset to continue moving Lamar County forward,” said Johnson. “This is an opportunity to invest in the community that raised me.”
Johnson’s extensive professional background includes leadership roles at American Spiral Weld Pipe Company, Amcor Rigid Plastics, and other prominent organizations. He is a US Air Force Veteran, a degreed engineer, and a seasoned business professional with experience managing multimillion-dollar budgets, construction, and operations.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Johnson is a dedicated family man, married to his wife, Ashley, for 13 years, and the proud father of three children: Jaylie (17), Anabell (15), and Asher (10). His commitment to faith, family, and community is central to his campaign.
If elected, Johnson plans to focus on three key priorities:
