Carolyn Slagle, 75 of Paris, passed away April 2, 2019.
A graveside service has been set for Monday, April 22, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at Evergreen Cemetery with Rev. Samuel Evers officiating. No visitation has been set. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home.
She was born on June 5, 1943 in Lamar County, Texas to Ray and Alene Lister King. She worked as a Lab Technician for Dr. Dougherty for over 30 years. Carolyn loved the Lord and attended church at Pathway International Church of God.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jody Slagle; nephew, Rhett King and wife Melanie and their daughter Natiley; cousins, Jan Stone and Jimmy Stone, brothers-in-law, Ray Slagle and wife Naomi, Buck Slagle; friend, Rita Norris and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Tony Slagle and her brother, Jimmie M. King.
