Carolyn “Ann” Diehl
September 17, 1949 – January 2, 2026
Ann Diehl, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and faithful servant of the Lord, passed peacefully into the arms of her Savior on January 2, 2026, due to heart failure. She was 76 years old.
Born on September 17, 1949, Ann grew up in Paris, Texas, alongside her twin brother, Larry Collins. From an early age, she developed a deep-rooted faith that would guide her throughout her life and serve as the foundation of her strength, compassion, and love for others.
On October 12, 1974, Ann married the love of her life, Richard “Dick” Diehl. Together they shared a marriage grounded in faith, family, and enduring love. Ann was a proud and loving mother to her two children, Emily and Scott, and she found immense joy in her role as grandmother to Max and Sosai, who brought light and laughter to her days.
Ann was deeply committed to her faith and was an active and devoted member of Union Hill Church of Christ in Missouri, where she resided prior to her passing. Her life was a testimony to Christ’s love lived out through quiet service, steadfast belief, and genuine care for those around her. She found comfort in God’s promises and shared her faith through both word and acts of service.
On January 7, 2026, under the direction of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home, Ann will be laid to rest at Meadowbrook Memorial Park, reunited in rest beside her beloved parents, Bea and Jimmy Collins. Though she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her, her family finds peace in knowing that she now rests in eternal glory, hearing the words, “Well done, good and faithful servant.”
Ann’s legacy of faith, love, and devotion will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and all who were blessed to know her. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann’s honor to the Union Hill Church of Christ Food Pantry, reflecting her lifelong commitment to faith and service to others. You can give by contacting the church (https://unionhillcofc.com/contact-us/) or mailing the donation to Union Hill Church of Christ 865 N. Nicholas Road Nixa, MO 65714.
