Paris Regional Health Prime Center invites caregivers, healthcare professionals, and anyone seeking a better understanding of the dementia journey to a special educational session, “Caring Through Dementia: An Open Conversation”, on Thursday, March 19, from 3–4 p.m. at Prime Senior Services, 11228 Clarksville Street, Paris, Texas.
The session will feature Lori Castro, a certified forensic nurse with over 15 years of experience in Alzheimer’s and dementia care.
Lori has served as director of assisted livings and memory care, specializing in practical solutions for challenging behaviors.
A dynamic speaker and author, she has contributed to numerous podcasts and seminars, focusing on caregiver tools, dementia types and progression, and medication and behavioral management of cognitive diseases.
Attendees will gain insights into managing difficult behaviors, understanding the progression of dementia, and practical strategies to support loved ones or patients.
This event is designed to provide meaningful guidance and foster an open conversation around the challenges and realities of dementia care.
