The Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris is excited to announce its 21st Annual Sweetheart Soiree – a celebration of hope, healing and justice for children – is set for Feb. 12 at Hidden Willow.
“While the last two years have brought us challenges like no other, we are excited to announce the 21st Annual Sweetheart Soiree will be an exclusive in-person event,” CAC of Paris Executive Director Rebecca Peevy said. “The Sweetheart Soiree has always been a time we can celebrate the hope, healing, and justice that can happen when we all come together to protect our children and raise funds and awareness for the Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris; however, these last two years have reminded us that we are truly ‘Better Together’ for our shared mission of restoring and healing the lives of child abuse victims.”
The gala event will offer dinner, dancing, and a live and silent auction. The silent auction opens on Feb. 11 at 8 a.m. and will be available online until 10 p.m. on Feb. 12 by clicking here.
“Taking place on Saturday, Feb. 12, the evening will include complimentary beer and wine, dinner, both a live and silent auction, and dance party with entertainment by The Tin Man Band,” Peevy said. “Taking lessons from last year, we are excited to announce that the silent auction will be entirely online this year and will be open for bids starting Friday, Feb. 11 at 8 a.m.”
The Sweetheart Soiree is also seeking sponsorships. For information on sponsorships, call 903-784-5787. (Updated, Feb. 9 at 9:55 a.m.) The Sweetheart Soiree, according to Peevy, has sold out of tickets and sponsorship spots. However, people will still have the opportunity to support both the live and silent auction even if they’re not at the soiree. The silent auction will run from 8 a.m. on Feb. 11 and end at 10 p.m. on Feb. 12. The live auction will be live-streamed on the CAC’s Facebook page here at 9 p.m. on Feb. 12, and bids can be placed by calling 903-609-9671 during the live stream.
“We believe that we can set children on a path towards healing by providing a child-focused, trauma-informed, multi-disciplinary team approach to these difficult investigations and by providing the critical services children need as they go through the investigation,” she said. “We welcome the opportunity to talk with you further about our organization. Your generosity enables you to play a valuable part in providing hope, healing, and justice for child victims of crime. Please feel free to contact me by phone at 903-784-5787 with any questions. We look forward to hearing from you soon. “
