The Children’s Advocacy Center of Paris’ Board of Directors announced on Wednesday Brittany Twitty Johnson as their new Executive Director.
A Paris, native, Johnson thrives on making a difference in her immediate community and in the world.
“Her life has been spent doing acts of service. Her most amazing examples were and still are Myke & Cynthia Twitty, parents of Brittany. With action, they showed their children how to love and take care of people,” said the CAC in a press release.
Since a young girl, Johnson has volunteered her time to better whatever circumstance that was put before her. and it all started in Elementary school. She has served her community from Girl Scouts to volunteering at various jobs she held, events in the city, serving people through her nutrition business and sitting on several boards in her hometown.
She prides herself on being the “community auntie” and takes the role very seriously. A chance to help and love on someone where they are in life, is a different type of mindset. Breaking down barriers in every aspect is a continuous goal of the new Executive Director.
Johnson graduated from Paris High School and the University of North Texas. Her studies were in Human Services and The Spanish Language. She was a part of the Service Sorority, Gamma Sigma Sigma.
She is married, 11 years, to Wendell Johnson II and they are the proud parents to their son Jaylen (age 16) and daughter of Aubrea Rhian (baby that is deceased). She is the proud Tía and Aunt to one nephew, Tabor, two nieces Aaliyah and Mahogany, a great niece Daija and a host of godkids (17 of them).
Brittany stated, “I am ready to continue working on the path that Rebecca has paved, serve the community and build with the team at the CAC. I am grateful for the community coming together and serving the bigger purpose. The generosity of volunteers, donors, places of business and beyond is overwhelmingly appreciated! Let’s Make A Difference Together!”
