Bryan Reece Edwards, 56, of Little Elm, passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023, at Medical City of Denton.
The family has scheduled a celebration of life for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, June 3rd at Covenant Christian Church, 4055 S.E. Loop 286, Paris, TX 75460, with Dr. Steve Russell officiating. Following the celebration of life the family will gather at the home of Rick & Mandi Edwards, 4813 Haning Dr., Paris, TX 75462. Cremation was entrusted to Bright-Holland Funeral Home.
Bryan, the son of Luther Edwards & Bettie Carico Edwards, was born April 12, 1967, in Irving, Texas.
In 1985, he graduated from Paris High School. Bryan joined the United States Navy in 1986, and was honorably discharged nine years later. Following his military service, he lived in Seattle, WA, where he began working for CBRE. He began as a janitor at CBRE and at the time of his passing, he was the Senior Director of Engineering & Facilities. Bryan was currently in charge of all Baylor-Scott & White facilities in Texas.
He loved life and lived life to the fullest. Bryan was an avid hockey fan, an official in roller derby, and a motorcycle enthusiast, having ridden to each contiguous state with his brother, Rick. He rode with BACA (Bickers Against Child Abuse) which gave him great joy to be able to help abused children. When it came to coffee, Bryan was somewhat of a coffee guru. He owned many different coffee makers from several countries.
His parents preceded him in death.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia “Trish” Childers Edwards, two sons, James Edwards & wife Haley and Brandon Edwards all of Seattle, WA, two grandchildren, Alice and Faolan, a brother, Rick Edwards & wife Mandi of Paris, and two sisters, Laura Zamora & husband Marcel and Hazel Tiru & husband Jorge all of San Antonio along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
