An adoption event hosted by Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue is slated for Saturday, May 29 from noon-4 p.m. inside All Things Coffee and Books, 138 Lamar Ave.
“We will have all kinds of fully-vetted dogs there – large and small,” Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue said. “There will be lots of small dogs there and pictures will be posted Friday of what will be there for sure.”
Basic adoption fees of $150 covers all vetting – vet check for health, heartworm test, shots, wormer, spay/neuter, microchip for life and flea/tick/heartworm med.
“Come see us and find your fur-ever friend,” Adoption Coordinator Sheri Ashford said.
All dogs require applications to ensure the pet “is a right fit for your family, and if you lease or rent your home we must have approval from the landlord to adopt.”
