Betty Jo Biddle, 91, of Pattonville, crossed over to be with our Lord on April 20, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on November 17, 1932 on a farm outside of Dickens, Tx. a daughter of Andrew and Mary Jane Williams Hook. She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Glenn Biddle, her parents, three brothers and three sisters and two grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Linda Winters and husband, Michael Winters; sons, Douglas Biddle and wife Pam Biddle, Harold Biddle and wife, Rhonda Biddle, and Gregory Biddle; 12 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
She grew up in the panhandle of Texas on a farm. After she married the love of her life, they lived in several states where they opened successful businesses. Betty Jo and Glen built and operated Glen’s Food Mart in Pattonville, TX. in 1985, which is still in business. After the store was sold in 1998, they enjoyed several years of traveling around the United States.
Betty was a true example of God’s love. She loved, helped, prayed and was sweet to all that met her. She allowed God to shine through her.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 PM Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Pathway Church of God. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery in Deport. Visitation will be from 1:30 PM till 2:30 PM Wed. at the church.
