A barbecue fundraiser, silent auction and bake sale is set for this Saturday to benefit 2-year-old Zoey Haskell, Deport, who was diagnosed with Stage 3 Rhabdomyosarcoma.
Haskell was recently diagnosed with the rare type of cancer that forms in soft tissue. Her family is by her side in the hospital and has a long battle ahead with her chemo and care at Cook’s Children’s Hospital in Ft. Worth.
“Please help us share this event.”
There will be barbecue plates at $10 a piece, a silent auction and a bake sale from 12-2 p.m. on March 11 at LifeLine Worship Center, 6780 Lamar Road in Reno.
All proceeds will go to the family to help with travel, medical expenses and bills due to having to miss work.
For more information or to donate items for the bake sale or silent auction, contact Tricia Smith at 903-495-0755.
The family also has a Gofundme account here.
