Barbara D. Patterson, 87, of Paris, passed away May 8, 2025 in Paris. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, May 12, 2025 under the Evergreen Open Air Chapel. Ted White will officiate. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery.
Barbara was born on November 2, 1937 in Paris a daughter of Virgil and Estelle Newberry Carpenter. She married Billy Joe Patterson on November 24, 1955 in Paris. He preceded her in death on February 18, 2009. She was also preceded in death by her parents.
Barbara was a longtime member of Brookston Baptist Church and was a homemaker and caretaker.
Barbara is survived by sons, Edwin Joe Patterson and James Bartley Patterson and wife, Susan; sister, Kay Adams Chance; grandchildren, Joseph and Shelton Patterson, Lesli Coquatand husband, James , Drew Arnold and husband, Dennis, Jacy D’Ann Patterson and Kaitlyn Hasten, Glenn and Ronny Ferrell, great grandchildren, Brooklyn Patterson, Tony Donaldson, Amelia Arnold and Liam Arnold and several nieces and nephews.
