Some of the fourth and fifth-grade students at Bailey Intermediate participate in an internship program.
Areas the student interns work in are the library, office, JUMP, and media.
The library and office interns help with general assigned duties each week.
The JUMP interns help gather supplies and deliver them for the interest-based classes that focus on student strengths and interests.
The media interns work with the yearbook, Bailey’s web page, and social media such as Facebook and Twitter.
To become an intern, the students had to fill out an application, get references, and go through the interview process.
