Anna Lynette (Ashford) Riser, 56, of Novice, passed away Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2024, at her home.
A celebration of her life is scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19th at Bright-Holland Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Red Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
Anna, the daughter of Joe Ashford & Beverly McFadden Ashford, was born Feb. 25, 1968, in Paris.
In 1986, she graduated from North Lamar High School. For several years she worked at Peoples Bank before attending California Community College where she received her degree in respiratory therapy. Anna then worked at Choctaw Memorial Hospital. During her school years she was active in Girl Scouts. As a youngster she was saved and baptized at Bounds Baptist Church where she received a perfect attendance award. She attended the Family Worship Center on 19th N. W. Street in Paris.
Survivors include her parents, Joe & Beverly Ashford, a son, Mason Riser & wife Marlae, and two grandsons who affectionately called her “Grand”, Hudson Riser and Sutton Riser along with many extended family members and friends.
