Mrs. Betty Wallace, a P.E. teachers at Aikin Elementary, was recognized at Friday Assembly for her track and field achievements while a student at Paris High School.
“Her achievement as the 1980 U.I.L State Track Meet 3A 100M Hurdles Bronze Medalist is truly remarkable and inspiring,” said the school online. “It’s a testament to her hard work, dedication, and talent in the world of track and field. Mrs. Wallace’s success serves as a great example for students, showing them that with perseverance and passion, they can achieve their goals and dreams. Congratulations to Mrs. Wallace on this well-deserved recognition,”
