Heartland Veterinary Clinic, formerly All Paws Veterinary Clinic in Reno, will celebrate its new name and ownership with a grand opening event on Oct. 10 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
“While our name and ownership have changed, you’ll still see the same great team you know and trust, committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care for your pets,” said new owner Dr. Jewel Newsom.
Newsom, a Paris native, returned home to serve the community that “shaped her” after fulfilling her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She graduated from Oklahoma State University in 2024.
“At Heartland Veterinary Clinic, our mission is simple: provide exceptional veterinary care, treat every patient like family, and build lasting relationships with the people and pets we serve,” Newsom said.
The grand opening will include free barbecue for those in attendance, along with a raffle benefiting Baby Gunn’s Animal Rescue.
Raffle prizes include a free veterinary exam, nail trim, spay or neuter procedure, flea and tick preventative with an exam, deer processing from Magnolia Farms, pet grooming from ORO K9 Grooming Services, $500 off dog training from ORO K9, 50% off a pet portrait and more.
Raffle ticket holders will also receive a discount at Frozin Spoon Sno Cones, which will be on site during the event.
