Internal Medicine Residents from Paris Regional Health recently visited Paris Junior College’s Nursing Simulation Lab for hands-on clinical training using the college’s high-fidelity patient simulators.
During the visit, residents worked with PJC’s 3G high-fidelity mannequins, which allow healthcare professionals to practice real-world clinical scenarios in a controlled, simulated environment.
“Simulation training provides our Internal Medicine Residents with an invaluable opportunity to practice, learn and grow in a hands-on environment,” said Dr. Saji Pillai, Internal Medicine Residency Program Director at Paris Regional Health. “We are grateful for the partnership with Paris Junior College and the opportunity to learn alongside their talented instructors.”
The partnership between PJC and Paris Regional Health gives future physicians another opportunity for hands-on training while highlighting healthcare education and simulation resources available in the Paris community.
