McCarthy Construction recently helped Deport Elementary teachers prepare for the new school year by turning their classroom wishlists into reality.
Teachers were invited to submit lists of supplies, materials and other items they needed or wanted for their classrooms. McCarthy Construction then purchased the requested items and delivered them directly to the campus.
The donation provided teachers with additional resources to help stock their classrooms and support students throughout the school year.
The effort is one example of a local business stepping up to support area educators as they work to provide students with the tools and resources they need in the classroom.
