North Lamar High School is proud to announce that three members of the Class of 2027 have earned honors through the College Board National Recognition Program for their outstanding academic achievement.
Fernando Cepeda, Todd Briley and James Spencer received the School Recognition Award, which honors high-achieving students who have demonstrated exceptional academic performance within their school community. Students are recognized based on qualifying performance on College Board assessments, including the PSAT/NMSQT, PSAT 10 and AP Exams, along with a strong academic record.
Todd Briley and James Spencer also received the Rural and Small-Town Recognition Award. This national honor celebrates academically accomplished students who attend high schools in rural communities or small towns and have demonstrated strong performance on qualifying College Board assessments.
The College Board National Recognition Program helps students highlight their academic accomplishments when applying to colleges, universities and scholarship programs. These awards provide additional opportunities for students to stand out during the college admissions process while recognizing their dedication, achievement and commitment to academic excellence.
North Lamar ISD congratulates Fernando, Todd and James on these outstanding accomplishments. Their hard work and determination reflect the high standards of North Lamar High School and serve as an example of the academic talent found throughout the district.
