Moncrief Cancer Institute is pleased to announce a new partnership with Paris Regional Health.
Through this collaboration, Moncrief offers free colorectal and lung cancer screenings for residents of Lamar County who are uninsured and qualify. For individuals who need follow-up care beyond the initial screenings, Moncrief also offers free clinical services at Paris Regional for qualifying patients. This coordinated approach helps remove barriers to care, including cost, travel, and delays in follow-up.
By combining Moncrief Cancer Institute’s extensive experience in cancer prevention and early detection with Paris Regional Health’s local clinical expertise and resources, the partnership strengthens the range of care without residents needing to leave their community.
“We are proud to extend our mission by joining forces with Paris Regional Health,” said Stacie Miller, Oncology Clinic Manager for Moncrief Cancer Institute. “This partnership is a commitment to our East Texas community. It’s a commitment to making life-saving cancer screenings accessible, affordable, and close to home.”
“At Paris Regional Health, we’re always looking for ways to make care more accessible for our community,” said Amanda Green, MD, Chief Medical Officer at Paris Regional Health. “Partnering with Moncrief allows us to bring important cancer screenings closer to home and help remove some of the barriers that often delay care. Early detection saves lives, and this collaboration helps ensure more people in Lamar County have that opportunity.”
