Brenda Lee Rodgers, 83, passed away Wednesday, June 10, 2026, in Paris, Texas while surrounded by her family.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 13 th at College Church of Christ with Nolan Butler and Charlie Hodgkiss officiating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Brenda was born to Curtis & Evalena Haley on July 6, 1942, in Paris, Texas. She attended and graduated from Paris High School in 1960. She married Billy Gene Rodgers on Dec. 14, 1963, and together they built a wonderful marriage making many precious memories with each other and later with all their family.
Brenda worked as a hairdresser for many years and then moved her career to K-Mart.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Haley and her parents, Curtis and Evalena Haley.
Survivors include her loving husband, Billy, son, Bradly Rodgers (Patsy) of Paris, daughter, Karie Bove (Tommy) of Pattonville, grandchildren, Brian Rodgers (Sarina) of Brownsboro, Ashley Reed (Garrett) of Paris, Jake Bove of Pattonville, Magen Bove of Pattonville and her boyfriend Kolton Jaynes of Detroit. Great grandchildren, Grayson Reed, Stella Rodgers, Brazos Rodgers and Gavin Reed along with many extended family and friends who loved her dearly and by whom she will be deeply missed.
Casket bearers will be Brian Rodgers, Jake Bove, James Ray Rodgers, Grayson Reed, Kolton Jaynes, Larry McDowell, and Garrett Reed. Dale Henry will serve as an honorary bearer.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff of Pine Tree Ranch and On Call Hospice for their wonderful care in Mom’s final days.
