On Apr. 13, Officers arrested Treveonta Breondre Clark (30) in the 1800 block of Martin Luther King Drive after receiving information that Clark was present at that location. He had an open warrant for Parole Violation (Homicide). He was arrested without incident, booked and taken to county jail. This arrest is in relation to a 2013 Capital Murder which occurred in the 200 block of 19th SW.
On Apr. 11, Officers were notified of an Aggravated Assault with a Deadly Weapon occurring in the 4000 block of Lamar Avenue and NE Loop 286. A victim advised she was driving in the area when a subject in a pickup truck attempted to get her to pull over. The victim declined to do so. The suspect continued following the victim onto the NE Loop 286 where he “Boxed her in” at the intersection of Collegiate and NE Loop 286 and then exited his vehicle. The victim observed the suspect to procure what she perceived was a handgun from his console and tucked it into the back of his clothing. The victim began filming the suspect who then got in his vehicle and left the scene. The victim turned over evidence to officers who obtained vehicle information and developed a possible suspect. The incident remains under investigation.
Officers made 45 traffic stops, 6 adult arrest, and answered 101 calls for service during this reporting period.
