Helen passed away peacefully at home Saturday morning, March 21, 2026.
Born in Minter, Texas, to Tully Floyd Temple and Helen Lawler Temple, she was one of three children: older brother, Johnnie Temple and twin sister Hattie Hobbs.
Helen is survived by her twin Hattie and many nieces, nephews and their children.
She will be remembered fondly as a generous, supportive family member, an empathetic, nurturing, friend and for her kind, quiet strength and enduring love.
Memorial services will be held at Bright-Holland Funeral Home Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Kelly Collins and Rev. Jody VanDeaver officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday from 9:30 – 10:00 a.m. Inurnment will be made in Milton Cemetery.
