Kenneth Dale Wood, 88 of Sumner, Texas born December 21, 1937 passed away on March 15 2026. He was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years Juliaette Sutton Wood. Together they built a life and legacy of Christian values and love that will be passed down for many generations.
Kenneth is survived by his four children, Dale Wood and wife DeAnne, Kathryn Milliron and husband Tom, Kenny Wood, Kim Bullard and Husband Brad, six grandchildren, Charles Kirk Robertson, Jennifer Wood Bashore, Matthew Wood, Nathon Bullard, Ty Bullard and Jake Bullard along with a host of great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father William Charles Wood, his mother Minnie May Henry, four brothers James Wood, WC Wood, Arnold Wood, Rex Wood and one sister Valda Burns.
Kenneth accepted Jesus as his savior and was baptized on June 15, 1954. He continued to be a faithful member of the Church throughout his life. Kenneth was a small business owner for most of his adult life. He began his appliance repair business in Odessa Texas, and relocated it to Paris Texas in 1980, where he owned and operated Wood Appliance Service until he retired to care for his wife, leaving the business to his son.
Kenneth enjoyed spending time with his family especially his grandchildren making memories on his farm, hunting, fishing, camping and raising cattle. These are the memories that we will cherish and what he was most proud of. He will be greatly missed.
Per his wishes no services will be held and a small family gathering will be scheduled to celebrate his life at a later date.
