Justiss Elementary School is proud to announce the co-champions of its annual spelling bee: Melany Rocha and Liam Phillips.
The two students emerged victorious after an impressive competition that featured 28 participants and spanned five challenging rounds.
Melany and Liam demonstrated exceptional spelling skills, focus, and perseverance as they advanced through each round, ultimately earning the opportunity to represent Justiss Elementary at the next level.
As co-champions, Rocha and Phillips will compete in the Lamar County Spelling Bee on February 4, 2026, at 4:45 p.m. The event will be held in the Weger Auditorium on the Paris Junior High School campus.
Justiss Elementary congratulates all students who participated in this year’s spelling bee and applauds Melany Rocha and Liam Phillips for their outstanding achievement. The school community wishes them the best of luck as they prepare to compete at the county level.
