On Nov. 3, The department was advised of a theft/fraud which had occurred over a time period. The 84 year old victim advised that a health care worker, working in his home, had stolen money from him by using his debit card without permission. The victim had also had cash stolen in the past but hadn’t believed the suspect to have taken it at that time. The victim realized that over 1000.00 had been taken from his bank accounts after he tried to pay his bills. Reporting officers spoke with the victim’s bank who confirmed several unauthorized withdrawals at various local convenience stores in the past few days. The case is being investigated by Detectives of the Paris Police Department.
