Sean Huffman, Democratic candidate for Texas House District 1, will be at the Red River Valley Fair in Paris, Texas on September 25th, 26th, and 27th to meet with voters and discuss the issues facing House District 1. On Friday, September 26th, Huffman will be joined by special guest, gubernatorial candidate Bobby Cole.
The Huffman campaign invites all residents of House District 1—Democrat, Republican, and Independent alike—to stop by, ask questions, and discuss the issues that matter most.
“Our campaign is about listening, exchanging ideas, and building solutions that improve the lives of everyone in House District 1,” Huffman said. “We want to make time for real conversations about education, healthcare, border security, business, and how we can better protect our most vulnerable.”
Key priorities of Huffman’s campaign include:
• Fully funding public education so Texas schools move from the bottom 10 in the nation to the top 10.
• Securing the border while also providing a fair, fast track to citizenship for hardworking families.
• Expanding rural healthcare access so no Texan has to travel hours for basic medical care.
• Cutting red tape for small businesses to drive local economic growth.
• Protecting veterans, seniors, and children from hunger and homelessness.
“House District 1 deserves real leadership that puts people over politics,” Huffman added. “This campaign is about working together for a stronger, fairer Texas.”
