On Sept. 9, 2025, members of the Red River County Street Crime Unit conducted a traffic stop that resulted in the arrest of Royce Williams.
Deputy Wesley Beckham and Investigator Mike Taylor initiated the stop, and during the investigation, officers located suspected marijuana and methamphetamine in Williams’ possession. Authorities also recovered a large sum of U.S. currency.
Williams was arrested on drug-related charges and transported to the Red River County Sheriff’s Office, where he was booked into jail.
The Red River County Sheriff’s Office reminds the public that all subjects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
