On Sept. 3, Officers arrested Nicholas James Lindley (25) on outstanding warrants from Bowie County Texas after receiving information of his whereabouts. Lindley was arrested in the 600 block of Bonham St. on the warrants. As he was searched incident to the arrest he was found to be in possession of Methamphetamine and a pipe used to smoke the drugs. He was also charged with possession of a controlled substance. He was booked without incident.
On Sept. 3, Officers serving a Parole warrant for an individual went to the 3100 block of E. Houston St after receiving information that the wanted individual might be there. Upon knocking on the door, an officer of the NE Texas Auto Theft Task Force observed the subject coming towards the door while concealing one hand behind his back. At that point officers, believing the subject possibly was concealing a weapon, entered the residence and took the subject, identified as David Cade Kenemore (43) into custody. There were narcotics as well as paraphernalia for the use of narcotics in plain view. There was also stolen property from a separate case in plain view. Kenemore was booked and a search warrant was obtained for the residence where over a gram of methamphetamine was located. Kennemore was charged with the Parole Warrant as well as Possession of Controlled Substance. He was booked without incident.
On Sept. 4, Officers observed a white male, identified as Shannon Dwayne Myers (52) in the area of Oak Park in the 2500 block of Bonham St. The park was currently closed so officers made contact with Myers. During their contact with Myers, he was found to be in possession of liquid methamphetamine as well as a syringe and a glass pipe commonly used for smoking methamphetamine. Myers was arrested for Possession of a Controlled Substance and booked.
Officers made 4 traffic stops, 4 adult arrest, and answered 120 calls for service during this reporting period.
