Jerald Kenneth “Jerry” Faulkner, 69, of Paris, passed away Monday, Aug. 25, 2025, at Carrus Hospital in Sherman.
Bright-Holland Funeral Home has scheduled services for 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Aug. 30th at First United Methodist Church Connections, 430 Clarksville St., Paris, TX 75460. Burial will be made in Mt. Tabor Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday from 7 – 8 p.m.
Jerry, the son of James Ray Faulker and JoAnne Brust Faulkner, was born Aug. 8, 1956, in Corona, CA. At the age of 13, the family moved to Clarksville, TX where Jerry graduated from high school. He then moved to New Mexico and operated the Commonwealth Theaters. Jerry later moved to Paris and worked at Campbell Soup for five years before beginning a career with Flex-O-Lite that spanned 30 years before his retirement. He then became a motorcycle escort for local funeral homes for a number of years. Jerry had been a member of the Breakfast Optimist Club where he was a baseball coach. Jerry was an avid motorcycle enthusiast. One of his greatest joys was riding his motorcycle.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, James Faulkner, Jr. and John Faulkner.
Survivors include his wife of 46 years, Cindy Boyd Faulkner, four sons, Anthony Faulker and wife Amanda, Jay Faulkner, Steven Faulkner and wife Erica, and John Faulkner and wife Riley, 13 grandchildren, Zach Faulkner, Trevor Faulkner, Garrit Faulkner, Madelynn Faulkner, Macy Faulkner, Melinda Faulkner, Brayden Faulkner, Emma Faulkner, Noah Faulkner, Harper Faulkner, Greeleigh Faulkner, Ben Faulkner, and Gianna Faulkner and one sister, Joan Smith along with several nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
Casket bearers will be; Trevor Faulkner, Zach Faulkner, Macy Faulkner, Madelynn Faulkner, Garrit Faulkner, and Red Dog Garner.
