Lamar County Deputies arrested a 15-year old suspect for the burglary of a business in Blossom early Monday morning.
Lamar County Sheriff’s Deputies and Reno Police Department Officers responded to an early-morning business motion alarm in Blossom.
When they arrived shortly after receiving the alarm call, they found that the front glass and display case had been shattered.
A search of the area showed the suspect had fled.
Deputies contacted detectives, who responded to process the scene and collect evidence.
The Sheriff’s Office also received reports of vehicles being burglarized overnight.
Later that morning, detectives developed leads and identified a suspect and with help from the Northeast Texas Auto Theft Task Force, the Paris Police Department, and the Precinct 2 Constable’s Office, detectives executed a search warrant at a residence in Blossom.
They found and recovered stolen items from the burglary.
Detectives also found and recovered a stolen firearm believed to have been taken from one of the motor vehicle burglaries.
Deputies arrested a 15-year-old suspect, who is now in juvenile detention.
The investigation into the vehicle burglaries will continue.

I also appreciate the assistance of the Paris Police Department Detectives and the Precinct 2 Constable in executing the search and arrest warrants at the Blossom residence, removing this juvenile from our streets.”
