Bogata Chief of Police Chris Bruton has resigned effective immediately, according to the City of Bogata.
No further information has been released at this time. However the City of Bogata is currently accepting applications for the position, as well as patrol officers.
Applications can be picked up at Bogata City Hall and the application period is now open and will run until filed.
