On July 14, Officers arrested Tiffany Lynn Anderson 43 on an outstanding warrant for Theft under 2500.00 with 2 or more previous convictions. The arrest stemmed from a March 9 incident in the 3800 block of Lamar when Anderson was found to have stolen merchandise from the store by secreting it in her purse and leaving the store. Anderson had accidently left her wallet in the cart. While store personnel were attempting to identify her for purposes of returning the wallet, they observed the theft. It was found that Anderson had prior arrest and convictions for theft. Anderson was arrested, booked, and placed in jail.
On July 14, Officers received a report of an a disturbance in the 4000 block of Jefferson Rd. They responded to the scene and made contact with Bruce Wandrikus Rollerson (32) who denied there was a disturbance and would not speak with them. They then observed a female who was distraught. Rollerson refused to allow officers to enter the residence to speak with the female. Rollerson was arrested for interference and officers spoke with a victim who advised that Rollerson had assaulted her with his hands, choked her, damaged her phone and taken away her keys. Evidence at the scene corroborated the claims. Rollerson was arrested and charged with Assault of a Family Member by Impeding Breath, a Felony. He was booked and transported to Lamar county Jail. A protective order was requested on behalf of the victim.
On July 14, Officers received a report of a stolen camper. The victim had been contacted by a subject who had bought a camper and was needing her to sign the title for transfer. The victim had not sold her camper, which was stored at a facility in the 2400 block of the NE Loop. Victim went to the location and saw that her camper was gone. Contact was made with the buyer of the camper, who provided information including a video of the purchase of the camper from the suspect. NE Texas Auto Theft Division was notified and is currently investigating the incident.
Officers made 26 traffic stops, 3 adult arrest, and answered 123 calls for service during this reporting period.
