North Lamar Intermediate kicked off its first All Pro Dads meeting on Tuesday night, bringing together over 120 fathers and students for an evening of connection, gratitude, and encouragement.
North Lamar Intermediate recently adopted the All Pro Dad program, a national initiative dedicated to helping fathers love and lead their families well. The program aims to strengthen family relationships by fostering intentional conversations and quality time between dads and their children.
Leading the charge at North Lamar Intermediate is Deric Osagie-Sule, who spoke to attendees about the importance of gratitude. During the event, students shared what they were thankful for, while the important men in their life reflected on and expressed appreciation for their children.
To make the night even more special, North Lamar Intermediate principals provided pizza for all in attendance, creating a welcoming and relaxed environment for families to connect.
The success of this first meeting sets the stage for future gatherings as All Pro Dads continues to grow at North Lamar Intermediate.
