A free concert series in Downtown Paris, Texas, is entering its third show for the month, featuring country band Little Texas and Stacy Musgrove.
Little Texas first entered the country music scene in the early 90s, quickly rising to the top of the charts with songs such as “What Might Have Been,” “My Love,” and the wildly popular “God Blessed Texas.”
The concert will open at 7 p.m. with local artist Stacy Musgrove, followed by Little Texas taking the stage at 8:30 p.m. In addition to great music, attendees can expect local vendors, food trucks, and late-night shopping on the square.
“We are looking forward to the third show this month,” said Paul Allen, Lamar County Chamber of Commerce President. “We welcomed more than 2,300 people for the first show and saw more than 3,800 in attendance last week. Of course, we couldn’t do this without our local business community, which continues to financially support the 903 Sun Sets Series.”
As 903 Sun Sets continues to grow, so does its reach. Downtown welcomed visitors from areas such as Midland, Houston, Springfield, Shreveport, and Oklahoma City. The series is presented by Visit Paris, Texas (managed and operated by the Lamar County Chamber of Commerce).
The remainder of the summer line-up includes:
June 20: Little Texas with Stacy Musgrove
June 27: Cas Haley with Dustin Perkins
If you plan to be in the downtown area on these dates, be mindful of road closures beginning at 8 a.m. The concerts are free to attend, and show-goers are encouraged to bring a chair! To learn more about the series and the artist, please visit 903sunsets.com.
