Report Just In: Monday, December 19, 2022 at 8:10am: Paris Police Officer responded to the 1800 block of North Main Street to a report of a Burglary of a Business that had occurred over the weekend and made contact with the complainant, who advised that he arrived at the business to find doors and desk drawers open. Near $1000 dollars’ worth of power tools and an assortment of other tools had been stolen. Suspect had broken the south side sliding lock off of the overhead door and believed to have left through the west side overhead door due to both sides of the door being unlocked from the inside.
Report Just In: Monday, December 19, 2022 at 4:27pm: Paris Police Officer responded to a theft call in the 1100 block of Northwest 15th Street. The victim advised that she was going through her checkbook and realized that at least two checks were missing. Her bank confirmed that known suspect had written three checks at Paris Walmart totaling over $500. A Felony -Forgery of Financial Instrument will be investigated.
Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 1:15pm: Paris Officer was dispatched to the 1700 block of East Washington Street to a report of a fraud. The victim advised that on 12-19-2022 two unauthorized transactions had been made on her Lone Star Benefits Card. One in the amount of $419 and another for $69. The victim had been informed that the transactions were made in Orlando Florida and in Wisconsin.
Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 5:22pm: Paris Police Officer was parked stationary in the 600 block of West Washington Street and recognized the driver of a passing vehicle. The tag confirmed the driver/owner and a traffic stop was made in the 200 block of SW 12th Street due to the driver having outstanding Class C warrants. Passenger, 18-year-old Randa Lynn Conrad of Paris was taken into custody for having methamphetamine on her person and having a methamphetamine pipe in her jacket pocket. Conrad was charged with 3rd Degree Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance and Class C Possession Drug Paraphernalia. Both subjects were booked into the Paris Jail.
Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 9:55pm: Paris Police Officer was conducting a security check of the Lake Crook Park area. Consensual contact was made with sole occupant 34- year-old Jimmy Eric Trevino of Paris, who was located in a “blacked out” vehicle. Trevino gave search consent and was taken into custody for possessing a clear baggie with methamphetamine inside his coat pocket. Trevino was charged with Felony Possession of Controlled Substance and booked into the Paris Jail.
Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 3:01am: Paris Police Officer was dispatched to the 2800 block of SE 3rd. The victim advised that the lock on his storage unit had been removed by cutting through the sliding hasp and pulling the lock through the cut section. Approximately 800 Scaled NASCAR models, a display case for NASCAR models, a Box Car Rail Car Train model and a 55” TV had been stolen. The storage facility has security cameras.
Tuesday, December 20, 2022: The Paris Police Department responded to 63 calls for service and arrested 6 adult persons.
