Terry L. Bell, 78, of the Hopewell Community

Terry L. Bell, 78, of the Hopewell Community, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Texoma Medical Center.

Services are scheduled for 2:00 p.m. Friday, July 5th, at First Christian Church, 780 NE 20th St., Paris, TX, with Rev. Robert Myre officiating and Harvey Gibson serving as eulogist. Burial will follow in Forest Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church from noon until service time on Friday.

Terry, the son of Henry and Lois Spilling Bell, was born Aug. 22, 1940, in Lawton, OK.

He served in the United States National Guard, and was a member of the Eagle’s Lodge. He owned and operated Terry’s Processing for forty years and then established Terry’s Beef Jerky in 1995, which continues to operate today.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Betty Hall Bell in 2004, and two brothers-in-law, Troy Garner and Pete Patterson.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine Wood Bell, children; Cheryl Dunning & husband Randy of Tucson, AZ, Teresa Lottsfeldt & husband Dave of Denver, CO, Jimmy Glenn & wife Joann of Corpus Christi and Michael Glenn of Benton, AR, step-children; Joel Foster & wife Christi of Allen, Greg Foster & wife Roxanne of Pittsburg, OK, Kyle Foster & wife Orn of Carrollton and Callie Gaddy & husband Danny of Forest Chapel, 18 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, and siblings; Doris Patterson of Brookston, Deloris Garner of Sumner, Michael Bell of Paris, Liz Spencer & husband Keith of Ft. Worth and Gaylon Busse & wife Terri of San Angelo along with several nieces & nephews and a host of friends.

Casket bearers will be: Dave Lottsfeldt, Randy Dunning, Cody Jessee, Wes Hearn, Jerrad Jessee and Lauren Schauermann.
